Sheds without a foundation base

You might not want the hassle of digging up your garden, or you have a half-decent base down already, or maybe you are on a caravan park, and you are not allowed to dig up the floor.... well, the design team at Asgard has developed an easy-to-use portable freestanding base system for sheds.

Shed base with minimal groundwork.

Setting up is super easy. You need to pop some flags down (one for each corner and make sure these are on a sound foundation and as flat as possible.  This is quicker than a full concrete base; this can be as easy as four flagstones or small dig-outs filled with postcrete in each corner.   Postcrete is a really easy way to do this.

Do you rent or lease a property, BUT you really want an Asgard shed, but don't want to dig up someone else's (or don't want your tenants to) garden, causing damage and leaving a permanent concrete slab behind? Try our portable shed base, quick and easy installation, with minimum ground works, and when you leave the property, you can take it with you!

Asgard Sheds are Perfect for angled or sloped driveways - without digging up your drive.

The portable shed base is Perfect for driveways. You have just had your drive done; there is no way you are going to dig it up for a shed, so the easy-fit shed base is perfect; just drop it in place and adjust the leveling feet!!

Then slide the chunky 100mm legs into place on the frame, and screw them in as level as you can by eye (each screw position gives you 25mm of adjustment (maximum of 50 mm).  Once the base looks pretty close to level, a further 10mm of fine adjustment is available through the feet; a simple turn or two, and you can get your base super level.

Once level, then it's a build as normal; just bolt your base to the frame, and build your Asgard as per the supplied instructions.

Top tip:

Asgard sheds are built inside out, which, when on the floor, will often mean standing inside your shed (our videos show this). If building on one of our shed frames, we always recommend you purchase the subfloor to sit inside the shed once done to ensure the base is as strong as it can be.

We would always recommend using the base frame in conjunction with a wooden subfloor. This should be fitted once the unit has been built and before use.

You can not fit the subfloor during the build, only once it has been built (you need access to all the base fitting holes)
