Asgard’s reputation is one for high-quality, 100% British manufacturing excellence. With over 50 Years of manufacturing experience, Asgard is the company to beat. Asgard designs and manufactures everything here in our West Yorkshire factory, and sells directly to our customers, though we do have a few very select reselling partners. The problem with being the best is that we do have a lot of pretenders! Everybody wants to be Asgard!

Secure Storage... and lots of it! Outdoor Garden Storage, Outdoor Garden Buildings, Bike storage, Small Sheds, Big Sheds, really Big Sheds, Large Sheds, Gas bottle storage, Caravan Site Storage, Fishing tackle storage, Tool Storage... the list goes on and on.

Copies of Asgard Sheds

Asgard's designs have been copied.. A lot!!! That is a problem! But, we look at it as a great compliment - There are so many Far Eastern Asgard copies, we have lost count, and we can't really do much about them. These cheap and cheerful Asgard copies are identical in looks… and much cheaper (but not always!) … but why? We have, of course, bought most of these "Asgard fakes", and we took a good look at them. I actually trialed one for a year… oh dear .. there is a reason they are cheaper. They are not really very good compared to ours (but, then we are biased). The materials are not that great; the steel tends to be a lighter gauge (thinner), and components such as the locks look just like our locks, but failed..

Let's be honest, we DID look at changing our locks to imports, but they would not go together properly and kept failing in use. So we kept our UK version.

But, in a competitive market, this is what makes the world go around. If you are on a budget and need a quick short-term storage solution, there are plenty of choices out there.

We have bought most of the lookalike sheds over the years. A like-for-like comparison is easy to do; check out hinges, screws, locks - all cheap overseas-made items. The steel is often thinner and poorly finished. Check out the “ventilation”; it's not much good… we found after a few weeks that the screws and internal panels had rusted, and the hinges bent (the steel was really soft). We could go on. In the end, it's up to the customer to make their choice.

We thought we would show you why we are the best; we were the first, and we have yet to see anybody close to us in quality.

"Not so much these days, but we used to get half a dozen call-outs a week, faulty hinges or jammed doors... we would get there, and it wouldn't be our shed... but a very similar-looking shed... they would look identical, but the feel, you could tell, really thing steel. The locks would look just like ours, but they just feel lighter and weaker. Caravan Parks were really bad for this, cheap copies all over the country, often sold AS Asgards; only when they stopped working did the customer realise the badge was different.
