The Asgard team never stops designing sheds...We do like a shed! In 2023, the latest Asgard design was born!!! The Sentry was the brainchild of new-ish Asgard designer Tony Bray. Tony, like most of us here, was a furniture designer first and drifted into the land of sheds over time. The Sentry was a natural progression. Asgard is well known for making huge sheds and workshops, but not everyone has the room for our HUGE sheds, so we thought, how about getting the same build quality into a smaller package?

Why did we design the Sentry?

“Simple, I was new to the Asgard design team, so fresh eyes are a fresh set of eyes. So the Sentry was born. The idea was simple: we have always made huge sheds, but what about the side of a house? Original Pent Garden Shed Design

No, we can’t claim this as a world 1st. Just our 1st tall, thin shed. Though it's an Asgard so….Thanks to our extension modules, you can just keep adding sections... the shed gets bigger and bigger. All the Sentry sheds have ventilation built into the design, reducing shed condensation - the true holy grail of shed design.

The Asgard Shed Range - Really is storage for life

We have not really changed from that original Asgard basic shed design 20-plus years ago; it was so good. In the last few years, we upgraded the hinges to stainless steel for extra longevity, and over the years, we have varied the paint texture a little and used more environmentally friendly processes. We only use the cleanest materials and processes in our manufacturing plant.

The Sentry range of sheds has not had the full LCPB testing, but don’t let that fool you!! Its made in the same way as our tested sheds, just untested, to make it cheaper. Super tough and featuring enhanced security features such as 3-point locking. Reinforced doors and snap-off security lock mechanisms, with deadbolts.

The Asgard Annexe Bike Shed - Decades Years Old!

Now over 25 years old, the Annexe storage unit is still 100% produced by Asgard, and (at this time) Asgard has the only tested enclosure bike shed range around) The Annexe was a groundbreaking piece of design and still looks good today. 1. We have not really changed from the original design; it was so good. In the last few years, we upgraded the hinges to stainless steel for extra longevity, and over the years, we have varied the paint texture a little, as we are always conscious of our environmental impact, so we will always keep an eye on emissions and work with our suppliers to ensure we only use the cleanest materials in our manufacturing plant. We have recently introduced the Annexe Plus, a bigger and STILL tested bigger version, to accommodate the new larger e- bikes.
