Paralympic Cyclist Blaine Hunt Upgrades to Asgard’s Metal Cycle Locker
Blaine Hunt is an old friend of Asgard, having previously owned an Asgard bike shed. The Access shed has been with Blaine for several years, and as secure and as reliable as you would expect, down in his London home. But our most recent installation marks a fresh chapter, supplying Blaine with our secure and sleek Asgard Metal Cycle Locker, just in time for his move from London to Manchester!
From London Tracks to Manchester
Blaine Hunt isn’t just any cyclist, he’s a three-time UCI Para-Track World Champion, world record-holder in C5 flying 200 m, and Paralympic silver medallist in the Men’s C4‑5 1 km time trial at Paris 2024. After surviving life-changing nerve damage in his right leg, Blaine took up para-cycling and rose rapidly through the ranks, debuting on the Great Britain Cycling Team in March 2021.
Why the Metal Cycle Locker?
Having previously used an Asgard Access Shed, Blaine knew what security and build-quality looked like. But as he relocated to Manchester - laden with bikes, tools, coaching kit, and his famous handlebar moustache essentials - it was time to upgrade.
