As the restrictions begin to be lifted and the country as a whole begins to return to normal. Asgard continues to offer our full range of services.  Our priority has always been the safety and wellbeing of our staff, as such we continue to monitor the situation and operate within Government guidelines. 

We have refreshed our RAMS in line with current guidance and continue to operate in all sectors.  Our sales and administration staff are fully operational, and we are encouraging remote working whenever possible.

As a result, customers may experience a slight delay in our response time, and on occasion, our delivery times maybe a little longer than expected.  All customers will be kept informed of any delay with their orders.

Our excellent production, delivery, and installation teams continue to work hard to meet our customers’ demands. Naturally, they are bound by strict social distancing measures and we have implemented rules to protect the health and well-being of colleagues and our customers.

As we look towards returning to our workplace, the Asgard Health and Safety department have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment. We have also taken reasonable action towards a safer working environment.

Asgard Secure Steel Storage is a sister brand to Flexiform Business Furniture, a UK office furniture company supplying major Government contracts. We manufacture all of our sheds and office furniture from the same West Yorkshire factory. While this doesn’t usually affect Asgard, Flexiform has several major government organisations who have called upon us to support them during the Covid-19 pandemic. This includes Public Health England, NHS Business Services Authority and the NHS (For example, the transformation of Excel events centre in London). Naturally, we want to help these clients and feel it is important for the country.  During this time, our (Asgard) response time maybe a little longer than normal.  However,

What can you do to prepare for your Asgard delivery?

While waiting for your Asgard deliveries, have you considered doing a few bits of preparation around the garden:

Preparing your shed base: We recommend preparing your base from paving slabs, tarmac or concrete. A solid level base is essential and will help speed up the installation of your shed! Read the preparing your shed base article here.

Clear Shrubs and Bushes: When positioning your Asgard shed, we recommend keeping shrubs and bushes 1m away. This will minimise any condensation forming inside your Asgard, as plants give off moisture at night. While you are waiting, you could clear the site where your Asgard is due to go. Tidy your Existing Shed: Are you replacing your current garden shed? While you are waiting you could clear out your shed of old tools, pots and equipment. This will help make the most of the space within your shed.

Measure up your New Garden Furniture: If you are planning to purchase some new sun loungers this summer, and store them in your Asgard during winter, then check out our internal measurements on the shed page to double-check they fit in.
