Ross Cullen Secure Bike Storage

Professional BMX Racer, Ross Cullen & his Centurion Police Approved Bike Shed

Professional BMX Racer and World Number 6, Ross Cullen, is the latest professional athlete to choose an Asgard Bike Shed to safely store his (BMX) bikes in. Blessed with a large garden and a lover of all bikes, Ross plans to store not just his BMX, but also his motorcycle and riding equipment in his new Asgard shed. After much deliberation and furious measuring, Ross chose the Centurion Motorcycle Shed.

At 5ft 2 x 9ft deep this Police approved bike shed has enough room for the BMX AND the motorbike. This insurance-approved shed features reinforced doors, hinges, and panels and a fully integral metal floor for extra security. Around the sides and roof eves discreet ventilation slots allow air to flow freely inside even when locked helping to rescue condensation, keeping Ross’s bike safe AND dry.

“My Asgard shed is the perfect solution to securely store my bikes and training equipment! The team came and fitted the shed in under an hour so it was totally stress-free. I am really happy I have found a secure housing for my bikes I can trust, to free up some space in the house!” - Ross Cullen, Pro BMXer

“It was great to meet Ross and install the Centurion Shed for him, as he already had a flat patio base, it was a straight forward install (apart from the rain!). Because of the sheds full-width doors and ramp, this shed is perfect for bike storage“   - Stuart, Asgard Shed Installation Team

Who is Ross Cullen?

Ross has been a BMXer since the age of 6! Starting off in Preston Pirates BMX Club, Ross quickly made the podium within his age groups and became UEC Junior European champion in 2019. His other notable achievements include coming third at UEC BMX European Cup in Verona (2022), and 1st and 3rd at UEC BMX European Cup (2023)

Ross became the World Number 6 at the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in Glasgow, the best position for the GBCT BMX racing men’s squad. With BMX racing becoming an Olympic sport in 2008, Ross was selected to be a travelling reserve for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and with a very promising future we hope to see him at Paris 2024!

Why did Ross choose the Centurion Bike Shed x6?

The Asgard Centurion 5x9 metal shed makes an excellent bike shed for up to 6 bikes or storage for 1 motorcycle with ample space for additional equipment. With full-width double doors, a ramp and an internal height of 6ft 6”, it gives most users great space to manoeuvre items in and out of the shed without hunching or ducking. However,  it was the security features of the Centurion Bike Shed that most appealed to Ross.

Accredited with Loss Prevention Certification Board Level 1 status, UK Locksmith Association approved, and Secured by Design (Police) approved, the Centurion is a tough and strong bike storage shed to help prevent bike theft. These excellent credentials are down to its strong reinforced galvanised steel construction, welded hinges, integral base (which can be bolted to the ground), plus a staggering 5-point locking system with EN1303-rated pick-and-drill resistant lock. These fantastic security features make the Centurion Bike Shed an excellent choice for Ross (and many other athletes!).
