Shockingly approximately 100,000 dogs are taken into animal shelters every year in the UK. Not giving these dogs an option of shelter will not harm these dogs as such but the dogs trust are hoping that instead will allow these animals to find safe shelter locations or hopefully bring them out in public to be turned in to re homing centres to give them the greatest chance of survival and hopefully a new start at life.
