Customer Reviews - Metal Bike Shed for 29ers
I'm very impressed with this shed it is very solid and very secure and was no bother to put together. The communication from Asgard was decent and the delivery driver called on the day and took care to carefully stack the pieces of the shed at the side of my house in a way that they wouldn't get damaged; far superior to most deliveries where they couldn't care less. Only downside is that it takes a while for your order to be made but tonne fair that is clear in the website it was well worth the wait.
Great shed Review by Andrew
This is great for my Electric Bike - Total paranoid I know, but I've been looking for a suitable electric bike storage unit for months, I stumbled across the Asgard site. The ventilation really works, keeps moisture down to a minimum so no chance of frazzling the battery. 10 -10 from me, Brilliant electric bike storage shed - looks awesome as well.
Great shed for storage of electric bikes Review by Toby
Very solid and extremely spacious. This shed will last longer than my cycling days I'm sure. I have not fears of anybody getting into the shed because its construction is very good. A very happy customer!!
Excellent product Review by Leicester Len
Got this for 1 road bike + 2 mountain bikes. Helpful service from the team at Asgard, as I realised that although neither of the MTBs were 29ers, their size was still such that I needed the larger shed, and they easily swapped over the order.
Great shed - but conflicting instructions Review by SpiderJ
The most challenging part of the install is getting a completely level concrete base laid. Once that is done, everything else should be pretty straightforward. It's not particularly technical, but there will be a point at which you require a second pair of hands to hold the thing up. It's quite heavy, too.
The only niggle I had was that one part of the Asgard web-site actively encourages you to drill a hole through the metal base to install a ground anchor, whereas another part of the web-site says that will invalidate the warranty. It would be good if those pages were clearer.
I am really pleased with this bike shed, it is very sturdy, well made and carefully designed. The delivery was on time and the delivery guys checked off all the parts with me, made sure I was happy with the assembly process giving me a few tips. Although this costs more than a wooden equivalent, its worth ever penny.

Many thanks Asgard and team, I would definitely choose you again.
It arrived at lunchtime and within 2 hours with the aid? of my 14 year old son it was completed. simple to put together. An electric screwdriver helps. Great design and more than fit for purpose.
Bike shed for 29ers Review by Crawford
Super impressed with this product, very strong, heavy, simple to put together and easily fits in 3 x 29ers.
Really, really good quality product Review by Andy Moore
I built it myself, I only need help to lift the lid on right at the very end and align the screws etc etc.
I've fully carpeted mine and also put it on wheels so I can move it around my drive (I built a large dolly). It's still secured with a very large chain and padlock on the official anchorage point.
This bike shed is worth every penny and I thoroughly recommend it.
Easily the best bike shed you can get for your money.
Great sturdy product Review by Nim
This really is a solid product that looks good which I can see lasting for many years.
Delivery was easy and made on the day as expected.
I put it together with a couple of extra hands. Easy instructions although some of the screws fell into some holes proving a little tricky to find again. You need to give yourself a least 2 hours and once you have the level sorted the lid closes fine and with the locks it is super secure. I went for the sub-floor and this fits very snug.
I have 4 bikes in total: 2 mountain bikes, a hybrid and road bike - I get my bike stand and tools inside too!
Unfortunately, I'd never thought I'd need a secure bike store until that dark night last autumn when whilst I was sat in the kitchen after a ride, some pond life broke into my shed and stole my pride and joy from right under my nose. In the days that followed I lived in fear of a repeat visit and the whole experience undermined my confidence - I felt very vulnerable.
Allowed me to sleep easy again - knowing the bikes are safe Review by Quarryman
Until that is I discovered Asgard and the 29er secure bike store. I didn't hesitate to buy one as I was reassured by the sold secure ratings and the online video showing how tough these things are to get into.
Once it arrived I set to building it and it was very straightforward with the use of an electric screwdriver a must. It would have been easier to assemble with two people, but i did manage on my own (just!). The timber floor insert fitted like a glove and keeps the bikes that little bit elevated which I think is a good thing.
The unit itself is very robust, but it is big so make sure you have enough space to accommodate both the unit and the open doors (and a bit more to manoeuvre your bikes in and out easily).
Ours now boasts an LED light and a built in alarm as well. We have managed to store two road bikes, a fat bike and a 29er in the unit - it does help to remove the pedals on the road bikes though to make it a bit easier.
In summary, its a great British product, made with care and attention and once built offers the best protection I think you can ask for without using bricks and mortar. I hope it lasts as long as it looks it will and the cats love sliding off the lid!
It's everything we wanted it to be. Solid, unobtrusive, easily accommodates 4 large bikes and, even for a DIY ignoramus, it was easy to put up. Very happy with it
